Indev to Deliver Information Assurance and Cybersecurity Services to DOT Federal Transit Administration

Washington D.C. November 14, 2017 – Indev is pleased to announce the award of a new contract with the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) Federal Transit Administration (FTA) Office of Information Technology. Indev will be responsible for providing cybersecurity services in the areas of Continuous Monitoring (CM) and Information Assurance (IA) to help the FTA adhere to its IT Security Program (FITSP), a key FTA Chief Information Officer (CIO) initiative to manage IT operations risks and to protect government data. Indev, in partnership with Halvik Corp., will support six (6) IT systems that operate across DOT’s Common Operating Environment (COE) and within Amazon Web Services (AWS). Under this award, Indev will provide strategic, operational, technical, analytical, documentation, compliance, and tool support across a range of tasks that include cyber assessments (e.g. FISMA, FedRAMP, vulnerability, cyber resilience), POA&M management, training, and other critical IA tasks.

DOT FTA, one of DOT’s 10 modes of transportation, is responsible for providing financial and technical assistance to local public transit systems, overseeing safety measures, and helping develop next-generation technology research. FTA is run out of DOT headquarters in Washington, D.C. and also has 10 regional offices that assist transit agencies in all states and U.S. territories.

Washington June 21, 2017 – Indev is pleased to announce the award of a new task order with the Department of Transportation (DOT) Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA) Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO). Indev will be responsible for delivering Information Assurance (IA) and Cybersecurity services in support of PHMSA mission critical systems. The scope of services Indev will provide include Information Assurance, Configuration Management, Privacy and Cybersecurity support to meet the organization’s security program’s needs and objectives.

DOT PHMSA is responsible for the regulation of hazardous materials transportation by highway, rail, air, water and pipeline as set forth in the Federal Hazardous Materials Transportation Law and the Federal Pipeline Safety Law. The OCIO’s vision for the future is driven by the PHMSA’s desire to leverage technology in manner that will allow the organization to deliver innovative IT systems to support rapid, data driven and risk-based approaches to improve business decisions and increase safety performance.

Indev to Deliver Wide Range of IT Support Services to Department of Treasury

Washington June 6, 2017 - Indev is proud to announce the award of a three-year contract with the Department of the Treasury, Special Inspector General for the Troubled Asset Relief Program (SIGTARP). SIGTARP has the authority, among other things, to conduct, supervise, and coordinate audits and investigations of actions taken under the Troubled Asset Relief Program (TARP).

Indev was chosen to provide IT services that will assist in analyzing and delivering technical solutions that support a wide range of SIGTARP business needs including operations, audit, investigations, and forensics. Indev-led support includes data analysis and visualization, application development and implementation, system and database administration, technology research and analysis, systems analysis and design, network security and accreditation, and end-user support and training.

Indev to Deliver Wide Range of IT Support Services to DOT OST

Washington March 8, 2017 – Indev, LLC is pleased to announce the award of a five-year Information Technology Support Services (ITSS) contract with the Department of Transportation (DOT) Office of the Secretary of Transportation (OST) Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO). With multiple service areas, ITSS addresses a majority of DOT’s foreseeable system and software development, testing and evaluation, business process reengineering, requirements, cybersecurity, and program management needs over the next five years. The scope of services Indev will provide, in partnership with Halvik Corp., includes operating and maintaining existing systems across all modes of transportation as well as developing, modernizing, and enhancing future-state systems. ITSS is available to OST and all other agencies and modal administrations within DOT.

DOT oversees the formulation of national transportation policy and promotes intermodal transportation. Other responsibilities range from negotiating and implementing international transportation agreements, assuring the fitness of U.S. transport carriers, enforcing consumer protection regulations, issuing regulations to prevent alcohol and illegal drug misuse in transportation systems and preparing transportation legislation.
