Arlington, VA, October 23, 2019 – The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has awarded Indev a contract to provide Agile Transformation services to the Remote Maintenance Systems Engineering Team (RMSET) group at the William J. Hughes Technical Center (WJHTC) in Atlantic City, NJ.  Indev will provide assessments, training, and coaching to RMSET’s functional teams in the areas of software development, hardware/database management, systems engineering, testing, configuration management, and process improvement— and empower them to develop and deploy enhancements for Remote Monitoring and Logging System (RMLS) software applications—more efficiently— to meet the demands of Users, Management, and Stakeholders of RMLS. The training will also provide RMSET with the knowledge and guidance necessary to successfully transition from a traditional software development life-cycle (i.e. Needs, Requirements, Design, Development, Test, and Deploy) to the more effectual principles and processes provided by Agile.

Indev Partner, Charlie Inman, who oversees Civilian Programs commented that, “we are honored that the FAA selected Indev to help them in their Agile Transformation. We have supported the FAA for over many years, providing mission training and technology support to Air Traffic Controllers, and we are excited to have the opportunity to help another important part of the FAA deliver mission critical support. We are excited about the opportunity to work alongside the FAA and help drive Agile practices to foster modernization and improved software quality.”
