Washington December 12, 2017 – Indev is pleased to announce the award of a new contract with the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) Office of Chief Counsel (RCC). Indev will be responsible for developing and implementing a new Railroad Enforcement System (RES) system using the Microsoft Dynamics (MS) 365 platform to help RCC manage and carry out its civil penalty enforcement program. The scope of services Indev will provide, in partnership with Halvik Corp., include Systems Implementation, Configuration Management, and Operations support to meet the RCC’s program needs and objectives.

DOT FRA RCC is responsible for carrying out the enforcement policy that includes issuance of civil penalty demand letters and other documents related to the violations of railroad safety laws and in the compilation of reports related to the railroad safety enforcement process. RCC uses an existing RES application to annually assess and collect several million dollars in civil penalties for violations of the railroad safety laws and regulations. RCC’s hopes to achieve enhanced case management and reporting capabilities through the new RES application built on the Microsoft Dynamics 365 platform.

This award increases Indev’s Microsoft 365 expertise and aligns with the company’s strategic focus and core competence of supporting the transportation market and the safety mission.
