Arlington, VA, August 1, 2022 – Indev is excited to announce the addition of Andrew Jarding as Director of Agile Programs. Andrew will lead Indev’s Agile delivery services and support the growth of Indev’s Agilist community, with a focus on continuous improvement and reaching higher levels of performance across Indev’s clients.

Andrew brings 15+ years of federal consulting experience, with 10 years supporting agile initiatives. He has served numerous teams as a Scrum Master, conducted multiple agile transformations, helped several clients with scaling agility across large programs, and led the Agile practice at his last two companies. He is most passionate about establishing Agile Communities of Practices, both internally and within federal agencies, as a way to create a culture of learning that supports the growth of the Agilists and organizations he serves.

Andrew has spent the last six years serving agencies across DHS, with a focus on agility at scale. He supported USCIS Verifications Modernization, where he piloted agility and helped the program organically scale from one to eight teams, in addition to delivering one of the first fully automated continuous deployment pipelines in the federal sector.  Most recently, Andrew worked within the RAVEn program at ICE, where he helped align approximately a dozen teams towards common quarterly objectives.

Andrew is also an active participant and contributor within the DC Agile community. He formerly led the largest Agile Meetup in the DC Area – the DC Scrum User Group – and enjoys attending conferences across the area to build new connections and discover new ways of working.

Outside of work, Andrew enjoys spending his time weightlifting, hiking, and kayaking. He’s also avid about barbecuing, where he brings his agile mindset to continuously improve his smoked brisket recipe.
