Washington, District of Columbia (preferred), but open to remote support within the United States

Indev is seeking to hire a full-time Federal Government IT Proposal Manager who can help with the following activities:
– Review Government IT related solicitations and create compliance matrices and compliant proposal templates/outlines.
– Research, organize, write, edit, and produce technical data for proposals responses.
– Organize and lead proposal teams
– Conduct research and formulate content by interviewing subject matter experts, on-line sources, and other source material (including internal Indev materials)

– 5+ years of proposal management experience related to Federal IT RFPs
– 8+ years of technical proposal writing experience
– Extremely organized with close attention to detail
– Hyper communicator, proactive and responsive to wide range of proposal needs
– Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical staff, distilling disparate writing styles into a cohesive narrative
– Excellent written and oral communication skills as well as excellent interpersonal skills
– Ability to work on short deadlines and sometimes high stress environments
– Familiarity with U.S Department of Transportation (DOT) and Department of Homeland Security (DHS) procurements a plus
– APMP Certification a plus

ADDITIONAL DESIRED WRITING QUALIFICATIONS (will vary based on proposal requirements)
Candidates should be comfortable writing to at least one:
– Experience in software development lifecycle
– Experience in Agile development
– Experience in technical architecture, engineering
– Experience in cybersecurity
– Experience in requirements management, testing
– Experience in cloud implementation (e.g., MS Azure, AWS, Google)
– Experience in cloud native/DevOps technologies
– Experience with SaaS platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, Salesforce)
